'A MEETING IN DUNEDIN. By Telezr&pli.—Press Association. Dunodin, July 26. At' a meeting of the Half-holiday Association to-night, a resolution was carried "protesting against the attempts being mado to defeat the decision of the electors of the combined district's of Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland in favour of tho Saturday half-lioliday, regretting tho action of Mr. Myers in introducing a Bill to defeat the people's expressed wish in this matter,.and urging the Government and Parliament to honour the electors'" decision and oppose any legislation in opposition to the recent vote in favour of Saturday."
