THIS AFTERNOON'S ATTRACTION. There are two games this afternoon which appear likely to provide pleasing exhibitions. At the park Selwyn meet Athletic. This will be the first appearance of the former ' team No. 1 ground, and supporters are looking forward. to the team putting lip a good performance. ■ Petono and Ponsko meet at Pct-qno. Both teams are level in the championship table, this being the result after the games played with Trentham teams have erased from the championship record, which the Union decided should be done, consequent on the removal of the camp. On recent form of the two teams a fast, open' game is expected. There is a train from Lambton at 2.10 and patrons from the City can Teturn to town by 5.30. There will be the usual early matches at the park. The official reporter in the House ol Lords receives £500 a year.
