BOSS GOLDFIEIiDS. \ Tho mine superintendent of the Boss Goldfields Eeconstructed reports'as follows tor the week'ended July 15, as under:—No. 2 drive cast, whioh advanced 24 feet in heavy pay wneh, is out 528 feet from No. 2 --hoot. No. 10 south drive, which was stortod at 510 feet, has advanced 8 feet in pay wash. No 7 north drive has been extended 13 feet in wash payable for 4 fcot above tho floor of the drive. No. 6 sou til blocking drive waa extended 7 feet in fair grade wash, 3 feet deep. No. 8 south drive was advanced 14 feet in wash just fair grade, .for a depth of 3 feet. Blocking is proceeding oft" No. 3 pouth-west, and No. 4 north-east drives. Whilst some parts of ono of the stationary pumps were being replace 4 during the week-end, a large volume of water accumulated behind tho underground lock, in consequence of whioh milling was suspended for 24 hours unail both pumps had reduced the water. The mine' superintendent telegraphed yesterday that the return for the week was 560z. 12dwt. of gold from 913 trucks.
