Tho limber dispatched'includes the Samoan Force of 1419 men/ and as some of these men have gone forward to join the New Zealand section of the. Mediterranean Expeditioriary Force, those men who have re-enlisted have .beon counted twice in tho total..\lt also includes the Maori ■Expeditionary Force, and the , British section, made up of 399 New Zealanders resident in England at the outbreak of war. Approximately, therefore, New Zealand has mobilised for active service about 26,000 men.
