WASTAGE OF WAR
IN RANKS OF MEDICAL CORPS. The Officer Commanding 'the New Zealand Expeditionary Forco telegraphed to tlie New Zealand Defenco Minister recently a request that ton extra 'medical men and 80 ambulanco men should be sent forward to make up wastage that had occurred in the ranks -of tho medical corps. The recommendation that these reinforcements bo sent has been approved, and they are to leave as soon as can be arranged. Tlie Hon.' R. H? Rhodes stated yesterday that the Director of Medical Services (Colonel Purdy), and tho Director of Military Hospitals (Colonel Valintine) Jjad selected the ten officers to go.
