SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for the predominance of strong, south-westerly winds, with cold, and changeable conditions, rain probablo generally. The barometer is unsteady, but will probably rise everywhere aoon. Unsettled and. gloomy conditions have prevailed, with rain in most parts of the oeuntry, and stormy oonditdons, especially in tlio north. Northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, have ruled, and the barometer has risen in the softth, but fallen steadily in the north. D. 0. BATES. Meteorological Office, Wellington, July 22, 1915.
