SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for. westerly gales, backing to southerlies. Expect cloudy, misty, and. unsettled weather, with rain generally and snow on higher levels in the south. Much colder weather following. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency at present, but probably rising everywhere after from M to M hours.
