The Football 'Association has decided that thero shall be no Cup competitions or international matchos, and no remuneration'to players. • (Rec. July . 20, 8.5 p.m.) London, July 20; Mr. H. J. Tennant (Secretary to the War Office), in tho House of Commons, ill response to a request for the views of tho Government on football, replied that although measures taken m 1914 had not realised all the desired results, t'hey were in the main satisfactory.' The Government looks confidently to tlioße responsible to restrict n'atches in accordance with the strong public feeling. -
