LODGE MEETINGS

!A.t the mooting of the Ponekb Lodge, U.A.0.D., Petone, on Monday evening, a telegram was read from tho Hon. James Allen, Minister of Defence, giving particulars of tlie condition of Mr. Orlando Pointon, who has been wounded in and is now at Malta ill hospital. Numerous inquiries have beon made as to Point-on's condition, and the Lodge hopes soon to hear of his speedy recovery.

. A motion of sympathy was passed to the relatives of tho late Bro. W. A. List. Appreciativo reference was made to the late brother's many good qualities as a Druid and a citizen

Past Arch Bro. Galliers was presented with a P.A. Collar and Diploma in consideration of having gone through the chairs with credit. Tho Druids' big demonstration will take place on July 31 .in Wellington, also a concert in the Town Hall, this being in aid of the Fund for Wounded Soldiers and their Dependents.
