The drill "competition by members of the various units of the National Reserve, arranged for Saturday last and postponed until to-day on account of tile roughness of the weather, will be held at the Newtown Park' at 2.30 o'clock this_ afternoon. Nineteen squads, com-prising'-tho Wellington'military area, will compete. Major Fleming Ross. 0.C., the Fifth (Wellington) Regiment, will act as judge. The successful squad will bo presented with the flag of tho National Reserve. If the weather conditions make tlie holding of the competition a,t the park impossible, arrangements have been made for the use of the Drill Hall, Buckle Street. •
