Writing ,to General, Robin, under date of May 30, General" Godley,'. Officer Commanding tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force, states:—"l expect you are glad that tho Samoan reliefs have taken place. I hope you will send all of them coming here simply as ordinary reinforcements. The Minister writes to mo that .there was on idea of sending another Mounted Brigade; this would, of course, be quite useless, and;what we want is'a perpetual stream of reinforcements (we cannot have too many), instead of another fresh unit."-
