Tho following letters have been received'from the High Commissioner, under dato May 19: — The Secretary, Poor of Great Britain and Ireland, and Belgium Relief Fund, Wellington, New Zealand. Dear Sirl havo pleasure in giving l you details of tho distribution of tho 11 cases and 1. sack of clothing fonvardby you per b.s. Star of Australia for the relief of distress caused by, the war. They wore distributed as follows:—3 oases through the War Refugees' Committeo; 6 cases through the Rev. R. Wilson, Clergy House, Settle Street, 5..; 2.cases through the Rev. S. Rouse, 102 Huron Iload, Tooting Bee., S.E.; 1 sack through ditto. The kindness of your committee in sending such a splendid gift has been iiighly appreciated, and I can only again thank thein on my own. account, as well, as on behalf of those who received the goods.—(Signed) Thos. Mackenzie. May 20, 1915. Dear Sir,—l have pleasure in informing your that the 2 cases of clothing shipped by your committee, per b.s. Itakaia, and referred to in your letter of December 11, arrived' safely, and were handed by mo to the Rev. Carey vVard, Sfc John's Vicarage, Chelsea, 3.W., for distribution amongst the Belgians in his district who have been suffering from the war. In acknowledg■ng receipt of the gift, the Rev. Carey Ward expresses his thanks to your committee for their kind thougbtfulness, and informs me that the number of Belgian families in his district is steadily increasing.—(Signed) Thos. Mackenzie. Dear Sir,—l havo pleasure in informing you that the 11 bales Of blankets and 65 cases of clothing forwarded by your committee per s.s. lonic wore duly received by me in good order and condition, The 11 bales of blankets were placed at the disposal o£ the New Zealand War Relief Committee,. and the Go cases of clothing were distributed in accordance with your wishes through the following channels: 6 cases to H. Brandt, Esq., Sumner Road, L.C.C.. School, Peckham, S.E.; 6 cases through Miss H. M. Porter, The Vicarage, East Ham, E. j 6 cases through Mrs. Bain, care Schoolkeeper, L.C.C. School, Northey Street, Limehouse, E.; 0 cases through the Croydon Charitable Society, 23a Adelaide Street, Mitcbam Road, Croydon; 6 cases through the Salvation Army, 259 Mare Street, Hackney, N.E.; 6 cases through the Rev. 0. Snelling, Mission Hall l Jd Walters Road, Swansea, South Wales; 6 oases through the Lady Superior, St. Andrew's Deaconesses' Home, Tavistock Crescent, Westbourne Park. AV.; i) cases through Sister Esther, Whitefield Central • Mission, Tottenham Court Road, AV.; 2 cases through the Rev. F.. C. Cowon, The Vicarage, Wellincr, Kent; 2 cases through the Rev. R.°B. Janvrin, Lady Margaret's Vicarage, Chatham Street, Walworth, fe.E.; 2 cases through Miss Newcomb, 9 Grafton Street, AV.; 15 cases through tho War Refugees' Committee, Imperial House, Kingsway, W.C.
