• The German Press is deeply interested in Lord Haldanc's utterances, and considers that his. recent speech renders Mr. Lloyd George's task more difficult. The "Eremdenblatt" says: "Lord Haldane, knowing Germany intimately, should have warned Great Britain or tlio folly of making Germany fight for her existence."
