KELBURN BOWLING CLUB
The annual meeting of the Kelburn Bowling Club was held at the pavilion on Tuesday evening. Extracts from the report have already appeared in these columns. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season President, Mr.' F. Meadowcroft; vicepresident, Mr. T. Gray; secretary, Mr. F. T. R. Johnson; treasurer, Mr. J. S. Macarthur; auditor, Mr. C. Batten.. Messrs. R. E. Mauley, F. Widdop, F. Meadowcroft, and E. C, Ganuaw'ay were appointed to-fill tho vacancies as directors. Tho club is pleased to put on record the names of two of its members who havo joined tho Expeditionary Forces, viz., Surgeon-Captain- Begg and Lieutenant Wakelin. Tho former went with tho main body, and the latter is' attached to tho Seventh. Messrs. M'Coll and Batten received • the - congratulations' of the club oil tho fact that their sons, who have gone to the front, havo been restored to health.
