'Amendment Bill, explained that the obi jeet of the Bill was to correct an omission in the Consolidating Act. ■: The Hon. o'. SAMUEL pointed out that tlio Bill was: retrospective, and • asked the assurance of tho Council that th£re was no case'in whidh any decision given or to bo given would bo affected.
. Tho Hon. SIR FRANCIS BELL said that he would dolay the committal of the Bill in' order that. he 'could' look into tho matter and give the answer. On'the second reading of the New Zealand Socioty of Accountants' Amendment Bill, . . TheHon SIR FRANCIS BELL ex-' plained that' the Bill provided for the reinstatement of. a member' after a period of 12 months. '
