SOLDIERS' PENSIONS
THE CANADIAN SCHEME; (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) ("Times" -and Sydney "Sun"- Services.) (Rec. July 13, 7.20 p.m.) ■ 1 London, July 12. Canada lias passed a Bill providing pensions of £97 10s. per annum (£1 17s, 6d: weekly) for soldiers totally disabled, witli £13 per annum (os. weekly) for each child.' It is calculated that in two years the war will involve a military pension list of £900,000 annually. The benefits will be enjoyed while tho recipients remain in Canada, but Parliament hopes to arrange some system of reciprocity respecting these pensions, -with Great Britain and tho other .Damiiiioiia,
