SUMMARY AND FORECAST
Present- indications are for moderate to strong south-easterly to easterly winda northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and freshening northcrlies elsewhere. Eipeet fair to cloudy weather generally, but unsettled at timce, with passing showers in the morthern and southernmost districts, arid also on the West-Coast of the South Island. Tho bore-meter will ]>robably fall temporarily in the south for a squall area duo to pass shortly. moderate to strong south-easterly winds have predominated in the north, and norMicrltcs in the South Island. The weather has improved generally to-day, but cloudy skies are still ' much in evidence, and scattered' showers have been reported in the northern districts.
