Private 'Albert Clark, of the 7th Reinforcements, who died at Treiifclmm last week from measles and pneumonia, was the son of the late Mr. George Clark, of Oamaru, and was born ill that district 'thirty-nine, years ago. He was in the Survey Department for some years, but when he enlisted he was in the employ of Mr. Larkin, of R-otorua. Mrs. Frank Murray, of Kilbirnie, is his sister. The remains of the late Private Clark were interred at Karori with military honours. The Rev. M'Kenzio Gibson, Anglican minister at Trentham Camp, officiated at,'the graveside.
