SUMMARY AND FORECAST , Present indications ere for variable winds, moderate to strong' south-easforlies to nortlierlies predominating, Weather cloudy and -unsettled at times, -with showers, espocially in tho northern and southernmost districts.- Tho barometer is -unsteady, with ft' rising -tendency. Strong north-westerly to couth-westerly winds hare prevailed, and tho weather has; been unsettled, with rdin in most parts of the country, and a, slight fall of snow has been fcported on higher levols in the south.
