Cormthic, of the Shaw-Savill fleet, arrived from London, via Cape Town and Hobart, on Saturday afternoon, and berthed at the King's Wharf. The liner left the Homo port on May 23, called at Teneriffe on May 29, Cape Town June 14,-and arrived at'Hobart on July 4. The final stage of the long journey, was commenced on the morning of July . 6, and arrival wag made as above. The weather from London to Gape Town woe line, with smooth sens. 'Misty and rainy conditions r/orc- met with on tho run to Hobart. ' The Corinthic brought 226 passengers'in , all classes. : In addition' to a largo general cargo she carried 1141 bags of mail.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's E.M.S., Eemuera arrived 'from Timaru yeß- - to fill up preparatory to sailing for London on Thursday. Both the steamers Somerset and OpoAra, (from Liverpool),' which are running under the auspices of the F. and B. Lino, have over 36C0 tons of cargo to land at Wellington early next week.
New Plymouth cargo will, be taken in by the Corinna to-day, and she will leave 'port to-morrow.
