Tho only condition'made .by tho company was that the council should mako the necessary arrangements with the present lessee. This has been dono on reasonable terms, and subject to the consent of the Minister of Public Health, the place will be handed oyer to the Department as soon, as it is heeded. It is understood that Dr. Valintine is very pleased with the kiosk as a homo for convalescents, so that : thero is every prospect of. tho building being adopted for the purposes mentioned. •
