'A Geneva telegram from Lemberg states that the Austro-Germans, when pursuing the Russians on the Vistula sustained terrible losses as the result of a Russian counter-attack thirty kilometres (18 miles) north of Toniazow, where the Russians fell on their right flank, routing a whole division and taking' prisoner two thousand; and capturing numerous guns. Thousands of wounded ara continually arriving at Jaroslav, Przemysl, and Lemberg. GERMAN OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE. .. , • . • London, July 7. "A German official message' states: "We are threatening Lublin, Ivangorod,and Warsaw. "We frustrated Russian efforts to break through the Austrian front between the Pruth and the Dniester. "The Russians are using naval guns from Kronstadt and other fortresses. Several hav9 been captured. v "We are progressing west of the Upper Vistula. During the pursuit of the Russians towards the Zita Lipa on Saturday and Monday wo made prisoner 3850 Russians." HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT.
