Tho Charitable Aid Committee of tlio Wellington Hospital ana Cliaritablo .Aid Beard at its .meeting yesterday was notified of tho gift bv Messrs. J. Staples and Co., Ltd., of <10 tons of coal for distribution among the poor of tho City. The Wostport Coal Co. has also placed 5 tons of coal at the committee's disposal for tho same purpose.
