A LIVELY BUSINESS
_It is pleasing to record that the effect of the war is not being appreciably felt by many business people in Wellington. When a representative of The Dominion dropped into Messrs. Radford and Co.'s •fiHe furnishing warehouse'; in Willis St-reet yesterday, to make inquiries, ho found tho big shop a scene of,activity with a sale in , lively progress. 'Mr. Radford stated that the war had not affected his turnover, and his staff were being kept as busy as bees in attending to the numerous town and country orders. There is nothing in the housefurnishing line ■ that this pushing firm cannot readily supply at most reasonable prices, from handsome solidly-con-structed dining-, and bedroom suites in oik in up-to-date designs to the humblest kitchen utensils. Difficulty in securing delivery of goods has not affected Messrs. Radford and Co., who are holding a- well-divorsiSed" stock of house lurmture; crockery, and metal-ware which gives the public the freest choice both as regards style and quality. Advice on arWstio furnishing is always at the disposal or tnoso about to furnish or refurnish, as a study is made in goodJasto m, these Important matters by the Willis Street firm. '
