At a meeting of members of the House of Commons there was initiated a national campaign to. urge upon mas-' ters and workers in munition contracts the vital importance of producing the utmost quantity.. Mr. Lloyd George (Minister of Munitions) said that if the war was to be won within a moderate period there must be a great increase of skilled .workers and unskilled femule labour.
