THE S.S. RIVERINA

; THE CAUSE .OF HER DELAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 6.. The heavy : -weather prevailing at sea is responsible for .a further delay to the Huddart-Parkor Company's steamer Riverina, which was ordinarily due at Auckland from Sydney yesterday morning. A wireless message ..received at Awanui at 10.10 o'clock this morning-from Captain Ent-' wistle stated that the Rivorina was then somewhere off the .North Capo in thick weather, and she is, therefore, not expected to reach Auckland till tomorrow morning. Apparently the steamer has met with heavy weather and head winds in tho Tasman Sea, and has heen further delayed by difficulty in picking lip lier bearings off the coast. Slio has 66 passengers, 220 bags of mails, and over 900 tons of cargo akard.
