MISSING CABLE SCHOONER
.SEARCH FOR THE STRATHCONA, By l'elograpli.—Press Association. Auckland, July 3. The Pacific Cable 13oard is- sending a steamer to search for their schooner Strathcona. Tho steamer, will also carry officials and stores between Fanning Island and Honolulu. The Strathcona left Auckland on June 4 on her maiden trip, since wlien _ she has not been heard of. There is a crew of eight aboard. The searching vessel will cruise 2000 miles, visiting the Kermadcc and other islands.
