FATAL FIRE AT PAHIATUA
MAN BURNT IN HIS OFFICE. , By Telegraph.—Press Association. Pahiatua, July 4. A' fire which'had a strong hold was discovered shortly after 3 o'clock this morning in the office of timher yarda here owned by Mr. James Cunningham. The charred body of Cunningham was] subsequently found ill the office. Dg' ceased was a married man with a young family. He came from 'Woodville a couple of years ago, and' acquired the timber business, which lie considerably. extended. . , ■ Somo years ag Cunningham met- with a serious accident, and had suffered lately from insomnia. He had a. habit also of going hack, to work in his office on account of pressure of business. He was of ""a generous disposition and much esteemed.
