NAPIER NOTES.
The following officers were elected at tli'e annual meeting of the Hawko's Bay Acclimatisation Society: President, Mr. F. Logan; committee, Messrs. S. Boyd, jT. H. Coleman, A. L. D. Fraser, J. S. Handyside, C. D. Kennedy, D. S. Laing, I. B. Logan, G. G. Mannering, R.' W. D. M'Lean, T. Parker, W. Shrimpton, F. W. Williams, W. G. Wood, and the Hon. J. D. Ormond. ' The Customs duties collected in Napier -last month amounted to £13,120 15s. 6d., : as compared with £9684 Is. 4d. for the same period of, 1914. The Napier Brewery Company has fiven £250 to "the 1 Wounded Soldiers' 'und. • •' .■■■'; ■ " The revenue from;.the Napier municipal baths for the past six .months shows a decrease, as compared with last year, of £36, "The totals of the Waipukurau Patriotic Funds to date are:—Belgian Relief, £811 9s. 2d.; Patriotic Fund, £302 2s. 9d.; Local Distress Fund; £40 19s. 2d.
