TENNIS PLAYERS TO PERPETUATE HIS MEMORY. By Telegraph—PrcEg Association—Copyright Sydney, July 2.. The annual meeting <>f the Lawn Tennis Association of Australasia made sympathetic references to Mr. Anthony Wilding's death. A committee was appointed to devise a scheme for perpetuating, his memory. Appreciation was expressed of the fact that America is not challenging for the Davis Cup. The association's bank deposits total £3738. Mr. Coltjulioun was elected president. At a meeting of the management Committee of the New Zealand- Lawn Tennis Association, it was decided in connection with tho proposal to establish a memorial to the late Mr. A: F. Wilding, that each- affiliated tennis player, in the Dominion should be asked to contribute one shilling" to tho fund. Upon receipt of replies to the appeal the association will'consider the'question of the form the memorial should take.
