SOME ASPECTS OF. THE WAR. The 'Anglican- Synod of tho Dioceso of Wellington will be opened in St. Paul's Schoolroom on Tuesday afternoon next (July G). when the Bishop of AVelling'ton (Dr. Sprott) will deliver his presidential address. Archdeacon Reovo will bo tho preacher at tlio Synod'service •in the evening at the pro-Cathedral. During Synod week special services of intercession will bo hold at St. Paul's, at which'short addresses on somo aspects; of the war will'be, given. The subjects.chosen are:—July 7, "God and tho War" ; July 8, "Foreign - Missions and the War".;- July 9, "Conduct and •tlio War"; July 10, "Reunion of Christendom and tho War" ; July -12, "Brotherhood arid the War"; July 13, "Morality and tho War,'' ".
