HAWERA WINTER SHOW
(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) . ' Hawcra, July 1. - The "Winter Show was continued to-, day, tlio attendance ; being considered very satisfactory. The poultry and dog classes were well filled, and, generally speaking, that part of the snow was attractive. V In the ensilage competition the awards were: Best sample (grass)—J. Blair, ] ; F. Livingstone, 2;' Or.VI. Parfitt, 3. Best sample any other kind—Ogle Bros., 1; X. M'G. Robertfon, 2; J. S. Tosiand, 3. The District Court Competition was won by Okaiawa School, Fraiser Road Sohool being second. In the poultry section tie winning partridge Wyandotte hen was a real tiptop specimen for quality. The North Island champion6hii) class for White Rocks was exceptionally good. The championship was won by a dock owned ( by Mr. .W. Cullen, Palmerston North.
