CAR DERAILED
.As Car 73 was turning from Kent Terrace on the way to Kilbirnie shortly before 6 o'clock last night, one wheel of the ,car took the Kent Terrace route and the other the hill route, with the result that the car, which was heavily loaded with passengers, left the rails. After the passengers had alighted an effort was made to back the car on to the rails-again. 'Tho effort was not.successful, however,- and it was not. until about two hours later that, with the aid of jacks, the car was, got into active scrvice. The traffic was somewhat disorganised, but as the lines are duplicated in Kent Terrace the delay to the service was not serious.
