i GERMAN NAVAL RAID i:i ACTION- IN THE BALTIC By Telegraph—Press Ajsooiatton-CopyriVht (Rec. July 2, 1.65 a.m.) ' Petrograd, July 1. Official. —"A Gefinan coastguard battleship, four light. cruisers, and several torpedo boats bombarded Windau and endeavoured to effect a landing, but wore repulsed. Olio torpedo boat struck a mine and was blown up. "Our torpedo boats engaged the enemy's cruisers, the torpedo boats, which were protecting the operations, against Windau from- the north, and compelled them to retire. "The enemy's _ offensive between Vieprz and the Bug, on the ZamoscSokal front, continues. "Wo successfully repulsed 6everal attacks on the Western Bug and Guilnlipa on June 28 and 29. Observing the enemy to cross the Dniester near Hlaicz we assumed the offensive and drove the enemy back, taking prisonor several hundred."
