WANGANUI FUNDS.
Wanganui, June 28. A statement presented to a meeting of the Patriotic Committee to-day showed that the total fnnds contributed to date were <£24,337 and disbursements .£18,459, the balance in hand being .£5867. The committee is organising a monster ten weeks' carnival, commencing in October, by which it is anticipated the funds would" be greatly augmented.
