, FURTHER APPOINTMENTS. In accordance with the terms of the ■ Education.'Act, 191<1, which provides that four members of the General Council of Education are to be appointed by the Minister, he has nowapproved of , the following appointments':— (1) Thomas Hcid Fleming, M.A., LL.B,, under Section. 8 (c) of the Act. (2) J George Hogben, G.M.G., M.A., F.G.S., under Section 8 (j) of the Act, representing technical interests. (3) Edward Banks, under Section 8 (j) of the Act, representing the interests of agriculture. (4) Mrs. Beatrice Esther Talbot, M.A., under Section 8 (j) of the Act, representing the interests of the education of girls.
