Auckland, June 27. The second round of the League matches commenced on Saturday. Grafton defeated Ponsonby by 10 points to 6, and in consequence are leading for the championship. City beat Newton by 16 points to 13, and North Shore defoated Otahuhu by 11 points to 10.
