CERMANS.
Sir,—The Germans iii New Zealand 110 doubt are in strong favour of Germany. Now, the English in Germany are treated as does, and kicked from pillar to post, insulted, spat upou, and treated iu a most cruel manner. Now, in return, we should bo kind to German residents in New Zealand by offering them a eafe passage to Germany. Ihev love Germany—well, lot them all go back. Wo won't insult them, we won't molest them; but let them all clear out of New Zealand if then" sympathies are German; let them all go home. I venture to say, if forced to return to slavery in Germany, out of our total German population 50 per cent, would not return if offered free passages. The time has come when we must act. Germans in New Zealand aro far too defiant; our si.ns are being killed; we are being laughed at by people who would, if they could, crush us into the dust. Why do wo tolerate Germans? I know we are humane: our poor English are getting awful treatment in Germany, while we are kind and benevolent to local Germans. I say, ship all Germans who don't like us back to Germany. Free passages: How many will go? Let us see.--I am, etc., ANTI-SLIM TONGUE.
