Sergeant Morgan, killed in action, was a well-known footballer. He played against the touring New Zealanders. (Rec. June 2G, 1.30 a.m.) Sydney, June 25. The forty-fourth list of wounded includes Major J. 0. O'Brien, a New Zealander; Captains Aberdeen, Langsford, Rumball, and 241 others, including Sergeants F. G. Lawson, C. A. Braithwaite; Corporal J. Gibbs, Privates J. 8.. Goard, G. Keeley, J. Graham, C. B. Duke (the latter wounded a second time). New Zealanders. Killed in action, 111, including Privates A. Jhillon, .T M. Roberts, L. W. Miller, ,T. M'Cahan. N. Matheson. New Zealanders. Died of wounds and illness, 10; missing, 92, including Privates E. A. Caliill R. J. Mathioson, P. J. Thompson, W. Westnopp (New Zcalandors).
