LODGE ANNIVERSARY

At the Masonic i Hall. Boulcott Stropt. on Thursday evening the members of Victoria (Robekah) Lodge, Ko. 2, 1.0*0.1'•« entertained the members of Brooklyn, Zealandia, and Southern Cross Lodges, 1.0.0. F., and friends, the occasion Ijeiny tile first anniversary of Victoria Lodge. There was a very large attendance of members and friends, including P.G.M. Bio. A. H. Valentine, and G.W. Bro. Talbot, who were welcomed by N.G. Sister Bodley. A feature o{ the programme was tho "cuttiug of tho bif'thday enke" by I'.N.G. Sister i who presented the fiist pieco out to P.t>.ll. Hid. Valentine for the members ot the Grand Lodge. The programme, which consisted of the following items, was very much appreciated and enjoyed: Overtures, Miss Coad and Miss Johnson; songs. Sister Atkinson and Misses Currey ami UnllICenney; duets (voe.il). .Misses Betty and Chappell; mandoline and banjo, Ucnnett and \Vo<kl:ui( (; qiwuk't (cello, violin, flute, piano), Misses 'turner \L) and Coonev (2); recitations, Sister ..oan and Miss "0. Reylins: Scottish dance, little Misses Campbell; electric club swinging. M iss lMii Crane. A menu competition" was won by Miss Richardson nml Mr. Hubbard.
