CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAY BOARD
(By Telegraph.—Press Asaooiation.) Chrlstohuroh, June 24. The Tramway Board elections were held to-day, and resulted as follows:— City^Sub-district (Four Members). — Geo. T. Booth (Citizens' Association); I C. JL Gray (Citizens' Association); H.' Hunter (Social Democrat); R. M. Spiers (Social Democrat); W. H. Cooper, Dr. Thacker, T. H. Davey (Citizens' Association), A. S. Taylor (Citizens Association); J. M'Cullough (Social Domocrat); D. G. Sullivan (Social Democrat), and G. E. Good wore nominated, and Messrs. Booth, Davey, Taylor, and Gray were clected. Limvood Sub-district (One Member). —H. Pearse (sitting member) and J. M'Combs. M.P. (Social Democrat) were nominated, and Mr. Pearso was elected. Woolston-Sumnor Sub-district (One Member). —Hon. J. Barr (sitting member) and J. J. Graham (Social Democrat) were nominated. Hon. J. Barr was elected. Kiccarton-Sockburn Sub-district (One Member).—J. Hanna, S. A. Staples (sitting member), J. Mawson Stewart (Citizens' Association), and T. J. Stokes (Social Democrat) wcro nominated. Mr. Staples was elected.
