WAIHI REEFS-GIGANTIC. The mine manager of the Waihi RcefsGigantio Consolidated, Ltd., reports as follows for the week ended June 16:—Driving cross-cuts at 1000 feet level:. The contractor for this work has advanced the north face 17 feet, and the 6.E. 13 fcot, total for week 30 feet. In the S.E. end the country is exceedingly hard and difficult to blast, while that in north face is milder, but changeable. Wo are now out in north end 511 feet from .shaft, and in S.E. face 415 feet. The north face shows veins of silica and minoral. All machinery is -working well. MOUNT LTELIi RETURNS.
