« (To the Editor.) Sir—l must thank "Fair Treatment" sincerely for the wav he has written a letter to the Editor m yesterday's issue ro returned men from Egypt. I may say that ever sinco I have been invalided back I liavo been advertising in both Islands, and I have not even rcccivcd a reply. I have had tho ploasuro of going to several offices, and tho samo answer meets mo: "Nothing doing." I will further say that I am quite ablo to work again, and I hope it will not ho long beforo I get work.—l am, oto., A. MOSSIP. 128 Ghuznee Street, Wellington. (To tho Editor.) Sir, —Are we returned "medically unfit," soldiers to receive no consideration whatever? I was told by tlio doctors to ask for my dischargo on arriving hero from Samoa, and not knowing military regulations, I did so; the result is that I receivo no remuneration, and have been unable to obtain employment. No business man wants uufits, it scorns;' whereas before I loft horn with tho Forces, I was earning upwards of £-1 a week. It looks as though I shall Imvo to go to the "Old Men's Homo," as I have not had my board for several wcoks now. Cannot something ho done? The Defence authorities rofiiso to help mo?—I am, etc., WASTE OF WAR.
