SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications "are lor cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain following generally, and heavy in the northern districts. Expect high northerly and easterly winds northward of Cook Strait, and increasing northerlies elsewhere soon, with a falling barometer everywhere. The weather was cold, equally, and showery generally on Saturday, but improved on Sunday. . Stormy conditions nave ruled in tho northernmost districts to-day, with strong northerly winds.
