NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wellington City Council to introduce in the ensiling session of Parliament the Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Amendment Bill. Tho objects that tho said Bill is intended to effect are:— 1. To amend tlio Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Act, 11112. hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Act," os follows:— , 1. By repealing tho schedule to tho principal Act and substituting in lieu thereof the sched'ule contained in the amending Bill, thereby extending the operating of the principal Act over a further area, of the Borough of Karori. (2) By adding a clause" to enable the Karori Borough in the event of the required loan proposals not being carried to recover by rate- over the area described ill the schedule to the Bill tlio amount that shall become payable to thn Wellington City Corporation pursuant to Section 12 of the principal A6t in respect of moneys expended nnder tho principal Act in connection with the preparation of the Principal Act and of the costs and expenses incurred in connection with taking polls for loans.
