The "thinking" horses of Elberfeld wore not, after all, killed in battle in Flanders, as has been reported in the nowspapers and many scientific journals. According to a note in "Science," the owner of the horses, Herr Krall, reports them safe and sound, though the experiments on them liave been suspended during the war.
