SMALL STEAMER TORPEDOED. (Rec. June 20, 8.50 p.m.) London, Juno 19. The British steamer Ailsa, 325 tons, bound from Norway to Leitti, has been torpedoed. Tho crew was saved. j A COLLIER TORPEDOED. (Reo. June 21, 0.35 a.m;) . London. Juno id. The steamer Dulcie, bound' from Shields to Havre, coal laden, was torpedoed off Orfordness. A fireman was killed, but the rest of the crew landed at Yarmouth. THE LOSSES FOR A WEEK. (Rec. Juno 21, 0,35 a.m.) London, Juno IS. For the week onding June 16 the arrivals and departures totalled 1347. Eight vessels were sunk, aggregating 20,076 tons; also five fishing vessels. THE FATE OF U29 SUNK BY A BRITISH WARSHIP. London, June 19, 5.5 p.m. High Commissioner's report:— The Admiralty announce in refererico to tho issued statement on March 25 re the sinking of a Geiitan submarine, U29, that the submarine was sunk by one of His Majesty's ships. HOW THE MEDUSA WAS SUNK Rome, June 18. The Medusa, which was sunk By an oiierny submarine, was reputed to be tho fastest submarine in the world. The two submarines were under water, and were ignorant of each other's nearness. The Medusa was the first to come to the surface. Tho enemy submarino sighted her through her periscope, and promptly torpedoed her.
