HOW THE MEDUSA WAS SUNK Rome, June 18. The Medusa, which was sunk By an oiierny submarine, was reputed to be tho fastest submarine in the world. The two submarines were under water, and were ignorant of each other's nearness. The Medusa was the first to come to the surface. Tho enemy submarino sighted her through her periscope, and promptly torpedoed her.
