HOSPITAL BEQUESTS
' _ At yesterday's meeting of the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board it was reported that intimation had been received from the Publio Trustee of two bequests of £500 each from the estate of the late Mr. Allan Maguire. _ The income of one bequest is set aside to provide Christmas gifts and comforts to tho inmates of the Children's Hospital, and from the other to _ maintain one or more cots in the Children's Hospital. also reported that a bequest ot £100 had been received from the estate of the late Mr. John Thomas Walker wlio dj e d at Kilbirnie on August /mo ant ' an instalment of £98, being balance of bequest of £100 to the Victoria Home from the estate of the late A. W. Lockwood had been received. A resolution was carried expressing appreciation of the bequests.
