Federal House Mr. Cook, Leader of' • the Opposition, severely attacked the Government. If a National Government was impossible, he appealed to Mr. Fisher, Prime Minister, to at least declare a party truce. POWERS OF INVESTIGATION. (Rec. June 18, 0.55 a.m.) Melbourne, June 17. The Federal Executive has passed an order under the War Precautions Act giving the Attorney-General power to obtain all information relative to food supplies.
