APPEAL DISMISSED. " By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, June 17. Mr. B. J. Dolan entered an appeal against tho sentence inflicted on Alice May Parkinson for murder at the Supremo Court to-day on the ground that l.ivo police constables and a civilian spoke to t'he jury during their deliberation. His _ Honour Sir Robert Stout said this did not affect the validity of the proceeding and the appeal was dismissed.
